Dr. Braedon Mitchell was born and raised on a family farm in rural Manitoba where he was involved in a variety of sports. Dealing with injuries throughout his high school years drove him to pursue a career in healthcare. Dr. Mitchell began his post-secondary education in Kinesiology at the University of Saskatchewan. Throughout university, he developed a passion for understanding how the human body moves and how important it is for us to maintain this movement. After graduation, he decided to further his education at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto.

While at Chiropractic school, Dr. Mitchell’s interests were geared towards an evidence-based approach to patient care. He began to understand that pain comes in many different forms and that people experience it differently. This helped him understand the importance of making the patient a part of the rehab team to develop the best route of care for them.

Dr. Mitchell utilizes multiple types of therapy including joint mobilization and manipulation, soft tissue therapy, exercise prescription and progression, and goal setting. Using all of these tools, Dr. Mitchell will employ a patient-centred care approach that will ensure a specific treatment plan for each patient.

Dr. Mitchell is excited to join the community of Olds and enjoy all that it has to offer. If you see him around town don’t be afraid to say hello.
